Our story

It started with making things.

Hockey Stock mark

Hockey Stock started as a way for a kid to learn how to make things on a computer. It quickly became something more: a creative outlet for that kid who has a never-ending list of projects and a constant interest in making things.

We create stylish hockey clothes for players who want to represent the game without looking like they are wearing ordinary team merchandise.

01

Hockey first

Everything begins with the language, rituals, and personality of the game.

02

Made together

The project is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and learning by doing.

03

Never generic

We want every design to feel intentional—not like another piece of ordinary team merchandise.

Our process

Creating with AI

One of the goals behind Hockey Stock has always been to learn by making.

Artificial intelligence is part of our creative toolkit—not because it replaces creativity, but because it helps us explore ideas, experiment, and bring concepts to life more quickly.

Every Hockey Stock design begins with an idea. Sometimes that is a rough sketch, sometimes it is a collection of notes and drawings shared in Apple Freeform, and sometimes it is simply a conversation about a concept. We use ChatGPT to help brainstorm ideas, explore different directions, refine messaging, and create early visual concepts that help us evaluate what works.

When a design is ready, the final artwork is recreated manually as vector graphics in Linearity Curve. Every design used on our apparel is intentionally built and refined by hand as clean, scalable artwork that is ready for production.

ChatGPT was also used in the initial design and development of this website, as well as to create many of the lifestyle images shown on the product pages. These images are intended to showcase the designs in realistic settings and help bring each concept to life.

For us, AI is not a replacement for creativity. It is another tool in the workshop. The ideas, decisions, and finished designs are still driven by people who love hockey and enjoy making things.
